Wow....interesting trip! LOL!

Well, I went to see Ryan the weekend of June 13th, and he is in Florida now, so I drove out there.  I didn't think I was EVER going to get there!!!!  LOL! 

I left the Dallas area around 10:30 a.m.  That was the first problem, lol!  I intended to leave around 8 a.m.  Unfortunately, it took WAY longer to rent the car than I thought it was going to!  So I got a late start!

  This is the car I rented....not the actual one, but one exactly like it.  It is a Chevy Cobalt, and if you like compact cars, and you have to go on a LOONG trip, this is DEFINITELY the car to get!  You hardly feel any of the bumps along the way, it is such a smooth ride!  Plus it is roomier inside than a lot of compact cars.  The ROOMIEST car on the inside, for me, though, is the Kia Optima.  I got one of those when I drove all the way to Phoenix, Az, and it was like driving a full size car!  It was small on the outside, which I love, but VERY spacious on the inside!  Anyway.....

First, I wound up stopping in Shreveport, Louisiana, for almost TWO HOURS looking for this:

  I have a house charger for my cell phone, but not a car charger.  And there is NO WAY I could have gone as far as I did without a cell phone!  I only had one bar of battery when I stopped in Shreveport.  *sigh*  These things are a LOT harder to find than you would think!  I went to truck stops, I went to Radio Shack, I went to Wal-Mart....FINALLY I went to the Dollar Store, and I found THIS:    AND my dumb ass bought it!!!!!!!!!!  Like that would work!!!!  DUMB!  That is an adaptor to make the car charger work in the house!  I needed the other way around!  So, I stopped at Wal-Mart's in Louisiana and Mississippi and FINALLY found THIS: Although mine is actually silver and a little bigger than that.  EVERY place I stopped was out of the actual car chargers, so I had to get this, which was less than ten dollars more than the car charger, so I'm happy about it.

THEN, I was ALMOST out of Alabama....I was right outside of Mobile, and I got pulled over!!!!    I was with Mr. Policeman for another almost two hours!!!!  He had a few issues letting me go!  He eventually told me, after searching my car and all kinds of things, that there is someone out there using a name ALMOST the same as mine, whose birthday is 12/10 (mine is 10/12), who has the same numbers in her social security number that I have in mine, just in a different order, who has had a license in the same two states that I have had one, who is wanted on a federal warrant for drugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!    So he was worried that I was her!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, the work day is over, so I have to put this on pause until I get back online.....I will finish tomorrow, I promise!
