Back to the office...

Well, after my three day weekend, I am back in the office. My boss is not in today, and Kelly has an appointment, so until almost 9 o'clock it was just me. Now it is me and MB and M2. We call them that, because they are both named Michele, so that is our way of keeping them straight. It definitely get confusing when we are hollering "Michele!! Michele!!!" from our various offices....lol!

For those of you who are following this journal, I have decided to reopen my "Journey to a Waistline" journal as well. I have decided to continue on that journey, and will be updating that journal as regularly as possible. You are all welcome to follow it as well.

I feel like I have so much work to do. That is one of the reasons I hate taking a day off! It always makes me feel like I am slacking when I should be working, and like when I come back there is double the work to do! LOL! I hate that! I have enough work to do without feeling like it has doubled!!! :-)

I did enjoy my three day weekend, though. I spent most of the day Friday garage saling and thrift shopping. I had a pretty good time. I spent more money than I should have, but I am thrilled with the things I got. I even got my little sister some clothes and shipped them to her! I got a HUGE rug for my living room that takes up almost the entire room, for just $20!!! And I got a purple sheet set for my bed for just $10. That is an amazing deal, because I have a king size bed!!! I got some decorative fake flowers (because I have SUCH a black thumb, I can't keep IVY alive, much less some pretty flowers, lol!), some VHS tapes (because I LOVE my VCR!!!), and I can't even remember what else. Then I went and babysat R's nieces for a couple of hours. Then I went home, and I proceeded to spend the rest of the weekend at my house. Although, I wasn't alone for part of that time, because Kelly's daughter Kadie and her friend Courtney both came to my house on Saturday and spent the night Saturday night. We cleaned a little, then we ate pizza, watched movies, and we all wrote to my R. Then Kadie went to bed, and Courtney and I finished watching a movie before we went to bed. It was nice to be at my house and not be by myself. LOL!

I took my car this morning and left it at the brakes place to have them fixed. They have been grinding for a while now. Supposedly they will replace my pads, do something to my shoes, do something else and something else, all for $100. Then they will check it out and see if anything else is wrong with the brake system, and that $100 will then apply to the balance of whatever else they do. HOPEFULLY, once they do all those somethings to it, it will be fine. I will be SOOOO glad to have my car fully functional again! I also need to get my oil changed and all of my fluids checked. Anyway, Kelly followed me to the brake place, and then brought me to work. So she and I will be going to pick it up later. It better be okay, lol, AND it better not cost me an arm and a leg! I don't have either one to spare!!!

Let's see....what else is going on.....hmm.....nothing I can think of off the top of my head right now. My head is all in my work right now, lol! I will be back later!
