Okay, so I suck at blogging! :-) I just never remember to do it! I am working on getting better, but I just haven't quite made it yet, lol!
A lot has happened lately, the biggest thing being that my biological dad passed away a week ago. I am having a hard time processing it. As those of you who have been reading me for a while know, I didn't know him for most of my life. In fact, I just found him and started talking to him last February. Less than a year ago. I spent four days in Colorado with him, and only today have I realized that those are the only four days I will EVER spend with him. And we didn't talk about ANYTHING! Nothing of any importance, anyway. I just found out from his step daughter that he was a vietnam vet!
*sigh* Yeah....I just can't talk about this right now......

So sorry to hear of your loss sweetie. It must be very hard, but at least you do have those few memories to hold on to. Hold them dear to your heart.
oh doll...i'm so sorry. I am so glad that you got the opportunity to meet him and spend that bit of time with him. However bittersweet it is, I'm glad you made that connection with him...and I'm sure that he was too.
